Currently, I am en Angleterre as one would say. Apologies for the trans-channel lingo, It's not funny or clever but it certainly is catchy. Anyway, being on home turf certainly is blissful. For one thing, meals are provided for you, as in they are actually cooked in an actual oven and placed lovingly in front of you. Trust me, it's what dreams are made of.
The other thing that brings me a sense of homeliness is looking outside my bedroom window and seeing the England's pleasant pastures whilst humming along to a chorus of Jerusalem. I haven't actually ever done that but isn't that an absolute belter of a hymn? These rolling hills are such a welcoming sight compared to the concreted mishmash of high rises that greets me every morning in Paris.
Now I know I'm going slightly off track and not sticking to my "City Sights" but there's something to be said for making comparisons.
Here are some of the happenings of home time.
